MINIMA S
The LimaCorporate Minima S is a primary uncemented curved short stem which has been designed following the principles of metaphyseal fixation and a round-of-the-corner insertion technique.
Benefits
Preserves Greater Trochanter Bone Stock
Allows a fast rehabilitation through soft tissue sparing approaches
The fourth taper conicity enhances stability
About
The MINIMA S triple tapered stem provides good fixation and minimises subsidence improving loading of the proximal femur, therefore maintaining bone quality and avoiding stress shielding. The trapezoidal cross-section in Titanium alloy allows a better load transmission than other cross-section shape and or different material. An optimized calcar stress distribution is achieved through a rounded medial region. The stem comes with a high open porosity combined with high roughness.
