February 11th: The International Day of Women and Girls in Science

There would be no computer programming without Ada Lovelace.
The US wouldn’t have sent people into orbit and to the moon without Katherine Johnson.
You wouldn’t know that DNA is a double helix without Rosalind Franklin.

On February 11th, the world celebrates the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. We’re beyond proud of the women working in LimaCorporate and we hope that more and more girls will choose a career in science.

We like to think that the women who will transform Orthopedics are already sitting at their desks in LimaCorporate.

In the picture, you see Nicole Esposito, VP of Global Marketing and Market Access, and Elisa Salatin, Research & Innovation for Additive Manufacturing Team Leader, during the last Women in 3D Printing event.
